We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

Craving for Sweet Oblivion

The throes of oblivion was a siren's call, a gentle promise of release. To drown in its shadows was to still the incessant chant of existence. The world's sharp edges dissolved under the spell of its peace.

To truly long oblivion was to yearn for a passing respite from the burden of being.
